Rental Assistance Exclusively for Moderna Employees

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Commonwealth Real Estate has an up-to-date, comprehensive database of rental listings not available to the consumer. We have access to proprietary technology which allows our agents to search for and match our customers to the right properties. Rental agents working with customers through the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Commonwealth Real Estate Compliments of Commonwealth program are experienced, background checked and specialize in the areas in which our customers are looking. Rental agents will provide expert knowledge on towns, neighborhoods and assist with lease negotiations.

-A rental property search is best conducted 4-6 weeks prior to the lease start date.
- Properties are advertised by local broker offices and online rental websites.
- Typically, the lease is presented 2-3 business days after application is accepted. At that time, the tenant reviews the terms of the lease, provides funds (first month’s rent/last month’s rent/security deposit) and signs the lease. Keys are provided on move-in date.
- Broker Fees -Massachusetts is a Rental Broker Fee state. Most rental listings require tenant to pay a fee to secure the property (cannot exceed the monthly rent).
